Baseball Season!!

Baseball season has officially started. This year Cameron is doing the pitching machine and is on team Diamondbacks. On Saturday, they had a clinic with the high school boys in the morning, then had their first game in the afternoon.

I am very happy to say we have a pretty good player on our hands. He was up to bat twice and both times he hit the first pitch that came out. His first hit went past 3rd base and his second hit went past 2nd base.

We all had a really great time and Cameron was especially excited to have Grandma and Grandpa Lavering there to cheer him on!!

Lots Going On

Well, we hope everyone had a happy Easter. The kids had fun. They all got baskets from the Easter Bunny filled with candy. The Easter Bunny was a little lazy this year, so they didn't get any of the fun stuff they usually get.

We started working on the house last weekend. We are trying to get a jump start because we have a lot of plans for the summer. We started last weekend by putting a new floor in the kitchen. It looks awesome and the floor is so much warmer now. I am currently working on the next project. We are ripping out the bathroom in the boys' room and totally redoing it. We hope to have that done in the next week.

Then we are going to redo the boys' room and finish up Liam's room. We also plan on ripping out the main bathroom and replacing everything in there. Sean has plans to build a new deck and I get to do lots of work on the yard. The grass needs reseeded and I am going to attempt to put flowers in the yard with the help of my friend DeAnn who has quite the green thumb. We also have to get our garden going.

So as you can see we are not lacking in things to do this summer!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

The Smith family would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day. We aren't doing anything special to celebrate this year. A friend offered to watch the kids but I usually feel like crap in the evening, so we will be hanging out at home tonight.

Sean went to the doctor today because his left shoulder has been bothering him. He fell while snowboarding with Pat on New Year's and it has been hurting ever since. The doctor says everything looks okay. He thinks that Sean popped it out but it went right back in, so the doctor thinks the main problem is tendonitis. Sean got a cortisone shot in his shoulder and he is loving it. He says his shoulder has never felt so great, so hopefully this will help clear it up.

I started a new blog that is all about our upcoming arrival. I figured I would have one area that was all about pregnancy woes and would give updates on appointments and what not. The new blog is smithbaby4.blogspot.com so anyone who wants to check it out can.

Lazy Heather!

Okay, so I admit I have gotten a little lazy. I haven't been updating like I wanted to so I'm sorry about that. We really haven't had anything exciting going on lately. Sean is working like crazy and the rest of us are just hanging around the house trying to stay warm.

We are definitely going to be in Casper at the end of February. We will be getting there late on Tuesday, the 26th and we are leaving on Sunday, March 2nd. So we will be having a party for Gabriel on the evening of the 27th and we also get to be there for Heather's big 3-0.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know when we would be there. I am starting to get pictures uploaded on to the computer so I will update this weekend with some pics.

Quick Update

Well, we got a new computer so now I can finally start keeping on top of things. It is a Dell and is really awesome but we have been having some trouble getting used to Windows Vista. I think I'm finally getting the hang of everything so I will start updating more often.

There really hasn't been much going on lately. It's been really cold but luckily our pipes haven't frozen again :)

Gabriel's birthday is coming up so we will be going to Casper to celebrate. I'm not sure what days just yet so we will be letting everyone know real soon. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I will post again tomorrow or the next day to let everyone know for sure (we'll probably call everyone too).

Lots Going On!!

Well, I just wanted to post a quick update. Things are pretty hectic here. My computer decided to crash and I have lost everything on my hard drive. I lost 4 months of pictures which is really crappy but I at least have my computer sort of working now. I am taking it in to get fixed so I probably won't be updating a lot for the next week.

We had a really fun New Year's. Pat came to visit and the boys had a blast playing with him. Liam even warmed up to him pretty fast and they had a rousing light saber match which was hilarious to watch.

The New Year brought a lot of sickness with it. Gabriel decided to get croup yet again and I wound up taking him to the ER on Tuesday because he was having trouble breathing. The doc said everything is fine and he is just fine now. Sean woke up Tuesday with the flu and wound up taking Wednesday off of work because he was really feeling bad. Thankfully, he is feeling better now (we all know how bad men complain when the don't feel good). Cameron woke up Wednesday with a fever and didn't feel good for a couple of days. He missed his first two days of school but I made him go today because he was running around the house terrorizing everyone yesterday. I took Liam in for a checkup Wednesday and the doc found fluid in his right ear. She gave me a prescription for antibiotics and sure enough the fever started later in the day. He is also feeling better now.

So everyone but me has been sick and I am just waiting for it to hit like a ton of bricks.

Cameron lost is first tooth on New Year's Eve. I have pictures that I will post later. The tooth fairy came that night and Cameron woke up to $5 under his pillow. She cited inflation as to why the price has gone up so much!
